A Story Must be Built

Since 2006, Haggard Houseboats strives to build the finest houseboats on the market. We are founded by Bill and Riley Haggard. Focusing on Northwest modern architectural influences, you can truly see the passion that goes into each and every houseboat that is built. Every detail matters to us from the design to functionality, we make sure to build houseboats anyone would be proud to live in.

 

As Haggards, we are obsessive about quality, every houseboats is built to last more than a lifetime. We are inspired by Americana, classic cars, Cris-Crafts, craftsman architecture, and Northwest woods, every houseboat has its' own personality that is sure to inspire it's owner. ​

We have built and rehabbed 16 houseboats since we started. Nine fully designed and built by Haggard Houseboats.

Bill Haggard

Bill Haggard is a master craftsman based out of Seattle, WA. He started working on houseboats in 1995 and fell in love with the floating home community. He’s worked up and down the shores of Lake Union, perfecting his houseboat craft and design. The first official Haggard Houseboat was built in 2006, Bill has since been featured on several channels including HGTV, TLC, and the FYI network. Bill has three sons, Riley, Hank, and Joe.

Riley Haggard

Riley Haggard grew up in the Seattle area and went on to earn his degree from the Western Washington University. While attending graduate school at New York University in 2011, he became a partner in Haggard Houseboats. Riley manages the marketing, finance, and operational aspects of Haggard Houseboats.
